Limestone cliffs, sacred caves, traditional villages, rice fields, and more! Tourism has only recently returned here after a difficult past. I grew up here and would love to show you the sites, the countryside, and the people I love so much!

We drive the paved Bokor summit road, gaining 1,000 meters in under an hour to reach clean air, misty forest, and steady temperatures around 20°C. It’s the quickest way to cool down without leaving Kampot.

The route is a loop of the classic sights: Yeah Mao Statue and its lookout, the graffiti-tagged Black Palace, the old French cathedral, Popokvil’s twin waterfalls, and Wat Sampov Pram where monks watch the clouds roll off the cliff.

Walking is light, timing is flexible, and we pause for photos, snacks, or history at each stop before returning to Kampot.

Head north of Kampot to Trapeang Sangke, where families protect 800 hectares of mangroves. A community boat (up to 16 guests) takes us 4 km along the Kbal Romeas Canal for shaded channels, birdlife, and a look at crab traps.

Every visitor gets the option to plant a mangrove seedling (from $1) and learn how the forest blocks floods and shelters crabs, shellfish, and shrimp.

This tour directly funds the village cooperative, so expect hands-on activities, candid stories, and plenty of chances to photograph the wooden boardwalks that stretch toward the open sea.
